What data do we process?

• Contact form: your name, email address, company (optional) and your message. We only use these to answer and follow up on your request. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in replying. We keep your message as long as needed to handle your request. If we end up working together, we keep what the assignment and our legal (accounting) obligations require.
• Email: if you email us directly, we process your email address and message the same way.
• Anonymous visitor statistics (Vercel Web Analytics): we count page views without cookies and without identifying you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving the site.
• Google Analytics: only if you accept cookies. Google Analytics measures how visitors use the site (pages visited, duration, device, browser, approximate region). Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. We keep this data for at most 14 months.
• Hotjar: only if you accept cookies. Hotjar shows us in aggregate how visitors click and scroll through pages (heatmaps) and can record visits as anonymous session recordings. Text you type into forms is not recorded and your IP address is anonymised. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Hotjar keeps this data for at most 365 days.
• Technical logs: our hosting briefly records technical data (such as IP address and time) to keep the site secure and working.

Embedded videos

Videos from framerate.tv and YouTube only load when you click play. Only then do you connect to that service, which may process data such as your IP address under its own privacy policy. YouTube videos play from youtube-nocookie.com.

Who do we share data with?

We never sell your data. We work with a few service providers that only process data on our behalf:

• Vercel (hosting and anonymous statistics)
• Google (Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager after consent, Google Workspace for our email)
• Hotjar (usage analytics after consent; data stored in the EU)
• Resend (delivering messages from the contact form)
• Sanity (managing the site's content; processes no visitor data)

Transfers outside the EU

Some of these providers are based in the United States. Data only goes there with appropriate safeguards, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection. You can withdraw consent at any time. Send your request to info@crowdproductions.be; we reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, www.dataprotectionauthority.be).

Changes

We update this policy when our site or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
